Financial Confidence for Young People
Future Ready™
Financial confidence for the decisions ahead.
Future Ready™ is GTW Finance’s practical financial confidence education programme for young people preparing for greater independence, employment and adult life.
Through engaging learning activities, real-life financial scenarios and practical resources, participants develop the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions and take action.

The Opportunity
The move into adult life brings real financial decisions.
From first earnings and everyday spending to study, work and living more independently, young people begin making financial decisions long before they feel fully prepared.
Financial information provides an essential foundation. But understanding financial concepts does not always translate into the confidence to apply them.
Future Ready™ is designed to bridge that gap through practical learning, real-life scenarios, application and appropriate follow-through.
What Participants Develop
Financial confidence that extends beyond the learning session.
The programme supports young people to:
- Approach everyday financial decisions with greater confidence.
- Apply financial knowledge to real-life situations.
- Understand earning, spending, saving and planning for near-term goals.
- Prepare for greater independence, employment and adult life.
- Identify realistic actions and develop the confidence to follow through.
The focus is not simply on what participants know, but how they begin putting that knowledge into practice.
Who It’s For
An inclusive programme for young people, delivered with the organisations around them.
The programme is suitable for:
- Schools and transition-year initiatives.
- Youth organisations and youth development programmes.
- Education and training providers.
- Employability and enterprise initiatives.
- Organisations funding young people’s education and development.
Ways to Engage
Three ways to engage. A consistent focus on confident action.
Delivery can be tailored to organisational needs, with in-person, virtual and hybrid options available.
